Press the “Shift” key on your computer keyboard, and then click and drag the cursor to the right or left depending on the direction you want the bubble tail to point until the bubble is the size you want. Position the crosshairs cursor, which appears when you select a callout, near the area where you want to create the text bubble shape. Select the type of text bubble you want to use, such as a “Rectangular Callout,” “Rounded Rectangular Callout,” “Oval Callout,” “Cloud Callout” or a “Line” callout option. Click “Shapes” in the Illustrations section on the ribbon, and then locate the “Callouts” section near the end of the Shapes drop-down menu.
